AUTHOR BIO

Wanda Wallin Bristow earned a BA in English Literature from California State University, East Bay. She has performed biblical monologues for over twenty years at women’s retreats, conferences, Sunday church services, and other religious gatherings. Wanda is happy to now make her work available for other women to perform.

Through Wanda’s performances, these ten women of the Bible have made a difference in the lives of a multitude of women.  She is now overjoyed to publish and offer her book of monologues to other women who can go forth and perform to new audiences.

Wanda is grateful and humbled that the Lord has blessed her with the art of storytelling and the health and strength to share her gift with others, to glorify his name. Through this book, Wanda’s greatest hope is that other women will step into these roles and continue sharing God’s word through these powerful, life changing stories. In Wanda’s words, “I pray that the women of the Bible will come alive in every woman who performs their stories, and that God will touch the hearts of all who listen.”

Wanda accepted Jesus as her savior at the age of ten. She married her high school sweetheart, John Bristow, at the age of seventeen and together they raised their family of three children in a loving, Christ centered home. After sixty-five years of marrriage, the Lord called John home and Wanda now resides with her daughter in the bountiful Central Valley of California.
